The Everton Park State School iPad Program began in 2018 for individual students to assist in their learning at school. What quickly became apparent was that many other students saw how they could use an iPad for learning and asked to bring their iPads to school too.
In 2019, this option was offered to all students in Year 6. This in turn spurred the Year 5s to ask about bringing their iPads in for learning. In 2020, this saw both Year 5 and 6 students choosing to bring iPads to school to support their learning. The expansion of the iPad Program moved to Year 4 in 2021.
There are some students in lower grades who bring their iPads to assist them in learning, however, as a school we would like to consolidate the learning of staff and students alike in these years 4 to 6 with iPads for Learning.
