Breakfast Club
Nexus Care is a not-for-profit organisation based in Flockton St, Everton Park. The heart of Nexus Care is to alleviate poverty in the local community by strengthening individuals and families. One of the key programs run by Nexus Care is the Fresh Start School Breakfast Program. This program helps ensure that children who are at risk of food insecurity are given a nutritious start to the day, and have the best possible opportunity to succeed academically.
At Everton Park State School, our Breakfast Club runs every Monday and Friday morning from 8:30am behind the Tuckshop.
This club brings our school community together, fostering a positive and inclusive culture. It ensures children start the day with a light but satisfying snack, supporting their well-being and enhancing their focus and engagement in the classroom.
