Age Champion medals will be given to 9 – 12 years. Students in other events will be given 1st, 2nd & 3rd ribbons, as well as a certificate. Students finishing in the top 10 for all races will receive extra points for their house. All students who participate in the race will receive a point for their house. A permission form for the day has been sent home.  Please return it to your child’s classroom teacher as soon as possible. This permission form is mainly for the students running outside  the school grounds.  However, if your child has any medical conditions please let your child’s teacher know. Parents are more than welcome to come and watch for the morning. Seating for parents is the top 2 rows of the terraces. Students will need to sit with the other students in their house. Triathlon Squad
This week we have Swimming and Cycling training. Bikes need to be taken down to the cricket nets before school. Please ensure your child brings a water bottle for training sessions. This is our last session for the term. Thanks so much to all the parents that have helped out for training sessions. Parents can you please make sure that your child is filling out their training booklet. Triathletes should be training at least 3-4 sessions per week over the holidays. All 3 disciplines need to be covered, especially the area of most improvement needed. Just a reminder that Early Bird entries for the Weetbix Triathlon on Sunday, May 22 will close on March 27. I have registered a school team “Everton Park State School” under the group section.  Please go to and register your child. It would be fantastic if we could have the whole squad compete at the event. I am very proud and happy with how hard the students have trained this term. Well done to all students.
Thank you
