P & C News

Thanks to those of you who came along to the P&C meeting on Monday night. It was great for us to hear from Ange and get some insights into what her plans and ideas are. Personally, I’m optimistic about the opportunities that we have as a whole school community in order to work together for the benefit of the students. I encourage you all to consider the important roles that you play within our community and the impact of your contribution.
Mother’s Day Stall: Mother’s Day will be here before we know it! The Mother’s Day stall will be held on Thursday, 5 May in the hall from 9:00am – 1:00pm for all students to purchase a gift for the special lady in their lives. Jules Aldridge, one of our amazing Grade 1 parents, has agreed to run the stall this year. We will be looking for helpers on the day, so if you have an hour or two spare, please let us know at The sense of pride that radiates from the students when they are choosing a gift is truly a sight to see.
2016 Fete: As I mentioned last week, Renee Kempin has taken the reins of the 2016 EPSS Fete and the team are commencing preparations already. This year we’re looking at making the most of our opportunity, as well as location and looking for sponsorship. If there is a company that you know of who may be keen to work with us, please get in touch with us. The 2016 Fete will be bigger and better than ever, thanks to all of you!
Have a great week
