P & C News

We’ve got a big week coming up with the Mother’s Day stall on Thursday. I know my children are looking forward to purchasing their own gifts. It gives them such a sense of pride and Jules Aldridge has gone to a huge effort to make sure that we can look forward to receiving something special on Sunday. A flyer has been attached to this week’s newsletter and Prep/Grade 1 parents have received a special note already with instructions to help the day run smoothly. If you have any queries about the stall, please contact us via pandc@everparkss.eq.edu.au. A big thank you to those people who have volunteered already.

I have been hearing some fantastic plans for this year’s Fete. It’s wonderful to know that we have access to such a varied pool of talent in the EPSS community and, thanks to all of those talented people, this could be our biggest Fete yet! Whilst rides & BBQ’s are a cornerstone of school Fete’s around the nation, we are seeking ideas that will make us stand out from all of the rest. Do you have something in mind that would have people racing through the gates to see? Perhaps thinking back to your school Fetes will give you some ideas (for some of us that trip back in time could take a little longer!). What is your favourite memory from that time? Leave a message on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/EPSSPandC or email us via pandc@everparkss.eq.edu.au and let us know.

Have a great week
