We’re almost finished Term 1 – hasn’t that gone quickly? However, there is still a lot happening before we all head off on holidays:
·          Fete – I’m overwhelmed by the amount of support we’ve had for this year’s Fete. At this stage, possible dates being considered are Oct 8 or 22.  So, not only does that give us some time to get organized, but if you don’t have plans around that time (NRL & AFL grand finals will be a distant memory!), let us know if you can give us a hand on the day. As well as co-ordinator positions, we also need families from each grade to help on the individual stalls. A big shout out to all of those people who have already put their hands up! The next meeting will be in Term 2, but in the meantime, simply email us at
·          There will be a heap of Easter raffle prizes this year, thanks to all of your kind donations. Particular thanks go to Dashel from Prep K and his family for donating a 1KG chocolate egg for the bumper first prize! Due to logistical matters, the raffle will now be drawn on Monday night at the P&C meeting, which should give the winners plenty of time to collect their prizes next week. Make sure you get your tickets and money back!
·          Election Day – For anyone who is helping us by donating some baked goods, please have them to the office on Friday, 17 March so they can be plated up for selling if required. For those of you who have agreed to help us turn a snag or sell food, you will receive notification of your timeslot and any other notes soon, if you have not been informed already. Get your friends and neighbours to come along to the school to vote if they’re in the electorate. We’re also listed on to show everyone that we’ve got the best sausage sizzle in the electorate!
Have a great week and see you on Saturday if not before!
